Vocab

1. Gravitas (Noun) -The seriousness of a subject.
Synonyms: Focus, depth, importance.
The presentation lost it's gravitas of the subject.
2. Alacrity (Noun)- When one is prompt and ready for something to happen.
Synonyms: Eagerness, keenness, fervor.
I went to the party with alacrity.
3. Recalcitrant (Adjective)- To resist the will of someone else.
Synonyms: resistant, rebellious, opposed.
The boy was acting recalcitrant to his father.
4. Propensity (Noun)- A natural tendency.
Synonyms: Disposition, reaction, inclination.
She had the propensity to go out and party on weekdays, just like her mother.
5. fallacious (Adjective)- A false nature.
Synonyms: Deceptive, misleading, Unsound arguement.
He didn't deny the fallacious rumor about his girlfriend.
