Nikkel,
You do not indicate whether your related words are synonyms, antonyms, or etymology (-5).
Impugn means to challenge the veracity of something. Lawyers impugn witnesses. Politiccal candidates try to impugn their adversaries..... You cannot use the word interchangeable with "arguing." (-1)
