4. The child prevaricates to his parents when he says he did his chores but really did not.


Reprehensible
1. Needing to be reproofed or censured

3. Synonyms: blamable, culpable, guilty
4. Critics thought that the T.V. show was reprehensible because it was too vulgar.



Penitent
1. Feeling sorry or bad about something you did wrong

4. He felt penitent so he went into confesion.



Rapacious
1. To be greedy and take for yourself
