1) Soporific- (Adjective)- Something that makes one sleepy or drowsy.

The soporific music made the baby instantly fall asleep.

Synonyms: soothing, calming, nodding.


2) Prevaricate (Verb)- To mislead.
Ms. Dalton prevaricated the incident.
Synonyms: lie, unclear, (rw) equivocate




3) Reprehensible (Adjective)- Worthy of blame.
He commited a reprehensible act.
Synonyms: guilty, sinful, unholy.



4) Penitent(Adjective) - Feeling bad for doing a wrong action.

She was penitent because she had ruined the night.

Synonyms: remorseful, apologetic, sorry.




5) Rapacious (Adjective) - Forcefully taking something, driven by greed.

Her rapacious action took some anger.
Synonyms: avaricious, ferocious, furious.
