Sym- seriousness, heaviness,and ant- goofy

The gravitas was obvious as the news reporter described the murder.

Alacrity-willingness/cheerful readiness

Sym-enthusiasm, joyousness, and ant- aversion
Alacrity was increasing as one team advanced after another.


Recalcitrant-resistant to authority or control
Adjective
Sym- rebellious, radical, and disobedient


The recalcitrant teenager skipped school and received a detention.




Propensity-A tendency
Noun
Sym- weakness, partiality, and tilt
The woman had a propensity to eat.

Fallacious-based on fallacy/tending to mislead
Adjective
Sym- unreal, untrue, and ant- valid
The fallacious signs on the street caused a big traffic accident.
