Probity
a. Probity means to be honest.
b. Probity is a noun.
c.Three related words are goodness, honesty and honor.
d. The boy had to give a probity statment to the police.

Scrupulous
a. Scrupulous means to know right from wrong when it comes to detail and to be exact.
b. Srupuluos is an adjective.
c. Three related words are right, strick and true.
d. The boy is scupuluos when he takes a test.

Spurious
a. Spurious means to not be true or genuine.
b. Spurious ia an adjective.
c. Three related words are bogus, mock and phony.
d. The boy bought a painting on ebay, but it was a spurious of the real one.

Stratagem
a. Stratgem means to make a plan to decive your enemy.
b. Stratgem is a noun.
c. Three related words are action, con and game plan.
d. The army came up with a stratagem to catch the bad guys.

Allysa,
"perfidious;" your sentence would be more clear if you would say "The perfidious boy lied to his mother."
"spurious" is an adjective. as in "the boy bought a spurious copy of a Picasso on e-bay...which explained the price!" (-1)

Sorry, I missed one. "Probity" is a noun. you are using it as an adjective--describing the noun "statement." (-1)
