Description- An excellent example, or sample.

Sentence- What is this paradigm for ants, it needs to be at least three times bigger.

Description- The study of the workings of literature.
Similar words- Linguistics, fundaments, syntax
Sentence- By studying philology you can learn about the literature before our time.

Phonology

Description- The study of how words and literature sounds.
Similar words- Sounds, linguistics, philology.
Sentence- Being an expert in phonology Sally knew how to explain the recordings heard at the crime scene.

Rhetoric

Description- The art or study of talking.

Sentence- All poets must be rhetoric in their poems.

Description- grammar, and the way words are put together.

Sentence- I remember learning syntax, grammar, and sentence structure freshman year and hating it.

I have NO idea what you're trying to say in your example sentence for paradigm!
"Rhetoric" --the way you're using it, you're using rhetoric as a predicate nominative...what you need to say is that poets USE rhetoric in their work.
